The Event:
For almost a decade the event at San Sebastian has been a focal reference for European surf. The list of past competitors includes World champions such as Tom Curren and Martin Potter as well as future world title hopefuls such as Aritz Aranburu and Jeremy Flores. The event will take place from the 21th of July to the 24th at La Zurriola beach, and will host more than a 100 participants from across the continent.

The Break:
La Zurriola is a beach break that offers a variety of waves and is locally referred to as the best surf sport in town. The right side of Punta Monpas can generate good barrel sections and is the most powerful wave of the beach. The middle section typically generates lefts during low tide and a good right with rising high tide. Generally speaking, the beach gathers lots of swell and works with every tide.
